No. EnaSmartWay does not require uploaded floor plans or interactive maps. You model the space as buildings, floors, endpoints, and waypoints, and connect them into authored step-by-step routes — which is fast to set up and reliable in any building.

What are endpoints and waypoints?

Endpoints are visitor-facing points — a START (where someone scans in) or a DESTINATION. Waypoints are internal graph nodes used to lay out the path. Segments connect waypoints into steps, and routes chain those segments from a start endpoint to a destination.

Can a single route cross floors and buildings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Segments can be marked as floor transitions or building transitions, so a route can guide visitors up or down via stairs, elevators, or ramps, and even between connected buildings on a campus.

Can I offer alternative routes to the same destination?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A start point can have multiple route targets and alternative routes — for example a standard route and a step-free accessible route — and visitors choose among the available options.

Is there an assist for building routes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A pathfinding assist in the admin panel can suggest a chain of segments between two points based on your waypoint graph, which you can review and refine before publishing the route.
